Online Tools For Families

BVSD has a number of applications that are used for classroom instruction, communication and providing updates to parents. Broomfield High School makes use of these online tools to help families support their students.

Parent Portal (IC)

The BVSD Infinite Campus Parent Portal gives online access to student academic information including grades, attendance, fees, and schedules. To create an account, you will need to obtain an Activation Key number. If an email with this number was not received, please contact the registrar at your student's school.

SchoolMessenger

BVSD and Broomfield High School use SchoolMessenger to send important information to families. This information can be sent via email, phone, and/or text messages. The contact information for this tool is obtain directly from Infinite Campus (IC) so it is important that this information is kept up to date and current. Accounts can only be setup with valid emails found in IC. Note that this tool is separate from the Parent Portal (IC) and has different login information and passwords.

For questions or issues with SchoolMessenger or you need help setting up text messaging, please visit the SchoolMessenger Support Website. Note that opting in to receive text messages is a two-step process.

Naviance for BHS Families

Naviance is the tool that the Broomfield HS Counseling department use to look at students' strengths and interests in order to better advise in post secondary planning for college/career. Parents/Guardians can request a Naviance account from their student's BHS Counselor. Note that students must access Naviance by first going to my.bvsd.org.

Schoology for BVSD Parents

Schoology is the learning management system used in Boulder Valley School District. Some teachers use Schoology to provide access to course materials outside of classroom hours, some use it to deliver online assessments or collect assignment submissions, while others will use the software primarily as a way of communicating. Your parent account will allow you to keep up to date with all your students' activity in the system.

Login for BVSD Parents

In order to access your parent account you can login at schoology.com/login with the email address you provided in Infinite Campus. If you do not already know your password use the Forgot Password button underneath the login fields, or contact the IT Service Desk for assistance at 720-561-HELP or help.bvsd.org

Please note, you already have a BVSD Parent Account in Schoology - you do not need to sign up for one.
