Hi! I've been teaching at Broomfield High School since 2005. I decided to become a teacher somewhat late in my professional career. Before getting my Masters in English Education from CU, I worked in the cycling industry for a number of different companies and played bass and guitar in a couple different Boulder-area rock bands. Broomfield is the only high school I've ever worked for and I can't envision working anywhere else. I'm lucky enough to work with staff and colleagues that I consider close friends, and I love the diversity of students here. I'm also the Junior Varsity Soccer Coach within both the boys' and girls' programs. I've also run what I call "roCk cLuB" where students who play rock music get together and make a remarkable racket. I love it. In my limited free time I love to read strange books, practice guitar, tele-mark ski and ride bicycles. But what I truly love the most is my wife Kristin and son Beckett.
