This is my first year at Broomfield High School and I am very excited to be here! My journey to Colorado has been long. I received a BA in English from BYU in 1997 and moved to France in 1998. I studied (Maitrise d'Anglais), lived and worked in France for about 10 years, 3 in Toulouse, 1 in Montpellier, and 6 in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris. In France I taught English to all ages from pre-school to adults. In 2008 I moved to Chicago and trained teachers to Teach English as a Foreign Language and obtain their TEFL certification. I decided to go back to school, this time at DePaul University, for a Master of Education specializing in World Languages. I started teaching French in Chicago in 2012, all levels from French 1 to IB Year 2. Finally, I made the move to Colorado this summer! In my free time I play volleyball, snowboard, attempt to Latin dance, and of course, speak French at any opportunity that comes up.
