The Broomfield High School poms team is a very kind community of young women who are learning many life skills through this great program. Both the JV and varsity won a title in the Hip Hop category at the 2018 state competition. The JV team is coached by Ali McCormick and varsity is coached by Carrie Nitchoff and Morgan Quinn.
One of the main goals set by the poms team this year was to keep up with academics while pursuing the very busy dance schedule that each of the members take on weekly. The girls practice from 3:30 to 5:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and on Saturdays, practice runs from 9 to 11 in the morning. Usually practice is in the auxiliary gymnasium in the school.
The Broomfield High School poms team is known for their positivity and maturity during the games and competitions they perform at. They are happy to welcome any new members with open arms.
