Broomfield High School Gymnastics

Leading up to the season in the fall, the gymnastics team trains all summer to become
serious competitors year after year. Coach Erica Taga has led the team to the state championships every year since she has been a coach, and has also had to second place finishes and one first place finish within the last three years. In 2014, Sarah Holbrook won state for beam while Kaley Licata won for floor. Gymnastics allows athletes from different schools in the area to compete as an eagle, which gave the girls a unique opportunity to bond with students outside of the school. The team creates a strong friendship and bond with each other through sleepovers, hiking, team meals, and long practices. They support they receive from their coaches Erica and Whitney help them excel in the gym. Gymnastics has an elite reputation at the school, and the team continues to live up to the legacy that has been left for years.
